Hull striker Dean Windass wants “another crack at the Premier League” next season and has dismissed talk of a move to Leeds.

The 39-year-old, whose 15 goals last season helped fire Hull to the top flight, has been linked with a move to Elland Road, but his agent John Hendrie said a switch was unlikely.

Hendrie said: “I’ve seen the story and I was surprised by it.

“It’s news to me. Dean’s still got another year left on his contract at Hull and he’d like another crack at the Premier League next season.”
