Last-gasp strike lifts Galway off bottom of table

Derek Glynn scored a late winner to move Galway off the foot of the table for the first time in four months.

Glynn, who'd scored the only goal in Galway's only other win at UCD in May, struck on 89 mintues when turning from Vinny Faherty's cross to fire past Alan Gough into the far corner.

The defeat, their fifth on the spin, was hard on Bray who created plenty of chances.

The best of them fell to Pat Kavanagh on 81 minutes when his header came back off the crossbar.
