Juve call off transfer of Alonso

Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has called off the Italian club’s pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.

Gigli has confirmed the club have finished their activity in the summer transfer market – “unless something extraordinary happens”.
