Benitez determined to complete signings

Rafael Benitez insists he will successfully complete some major Liverpool signings in the coming weeks.

The Anfield boss had seen the supporting cast of youth and fringe players from his squad complete the club’s first pre-season friendly with a 1-0 win at Tranmere today, thanks to a fine first-half winner from Yossi Benayoun.
