Finn Harps Manager Paul Hegarty made his third signing of the week when David Tyrrell joined the club on loan from Shamrock Rovers.

Tyrrell will go straight into the squad for Sunday night's game against St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park. He arrives at Finn Park after Neil McCafferty and Austin Friel put pen to paper earlier this week for Harps.

David played his latter days of schoolboy football with Shelbourne FC and progressed with the 'Reds' to Under 21 and then senior level. He then moved on to Bray Wanderers and spent two years at the Carlisle Grounds.

He signed for Shamrock Rovers twelve months ago and made a scoring debut for the Hoops in a 3-0 victory over Longford Town at Flancare Park.
