Davies braced for Baggies return

Aston Villa central defender Curtis Davies admits he is braced for an “interesting reception” when he returns to West Brom for the first time with Martin O’Neill’s side next season.

Davies, well on the road to recovery from a ruptured achilles, was viewed as public enemy number one by some Baggies fans when he joined Villa on loan last season – a transfer that became permanent earlier this week.
