Drogba gives mixed signals on Chelsea exit

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has talked about speculation that he is headed for the Stamford Bridge exit.

The Ivory Coast international, at Chelsea since moving from Marseille in 2004, has been strongly linked with a move to Inter Milan, where he would link up with former boss Jose Mourinho, and AC Milan.

However, while he stopped short of saying he wanted to stay, he made pointed reference to the fact he still has two years of his contract left to run.

“I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010, so I am still a Chelsea player,” the striker told skysports.com.

“Mourinho is my friend and I am happy for him because he was missing coaching.

“He is a top coach but, like I said, my contract here runs until 2010.”
