Agent: West Brom interested in Taarabt

Adel Taarabt’s agent Rudy Raba claims Premier League new boys West Brom have stepped up their efforts to sign the 19-year-old on loan.

The Tottenham midfielder is reportedly keen on a move to The Hawthorns as he seeks regular first-team football and was the subject of an Albion inquiry during the last loan window.

Taarabt’s move looks all the more likely following the arrival of Luka Modric and Giovani dos Santos at White Heart Lane.

Raba told the 'Birmingham Mail': “We have some decisions to make about Adel. West Bromwich Albion have an interest and have followed him for a long time.

“He has opportunities from many clubs in several countries, including England and France.

“The manager at Tottenham (Juande Ramos) likes him but Adel wants to play and knows that may not be possible for some time. Will Adel go to West Brom? It’s too early to say – but the option is there.”
