Morrow and Hargan still out for Candystripes
Derry City meet UCD at the Brandywell in tonight’s eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash, kick-off 7.45pm.
The Candystripes grabbed a last-minute winner in the season opener at the UCD Bowl and Stephen Kenny’s side should make home advantage count in tonight’s return fixture.
Sammy Morrow remains out for City with a cruciate injury, while Sean Hargan is struggling with an ankle problem.
Paddy McCourt is out with a back injury and Eugene Ferry remains out, although he is back training after a metatarsal injury.
Derry boss Stephen said: “UCD have had two scoreless draws recently against Bohs and St Pat’s so they defend well, work hard and will be difficult to break down.
“However, we are unbeaten at home and wish for that to continue.
“There have been a lot of set backs this year but I am very pleased with the players and hope for another win.”
UCD have a full squad travelling to the Brandywell, although boss Pete Mahon may have to plan without Conor Kenna who is carrying an injury into the game.
