UEFA hail 'fantastic' Manchester

UEFA say Manchester did a “fantastic job” in staging the UEFA Cup final despite the trouble involving Rangers fans and insist no other city could have done it better.

Several hundred fans clashed with riot police after a big screen showing the match against Zenit St Petersburg in the city’s Piccadilly Gardens failed to work.
