Birmingham City co-owner David Sullivan today accused the City of London Police of “being more interested in making a name for themselves” after he was arrested in connection with the inquiry into alleged corruption in English football.

Birmingham City co-owner David Sullivan today accused the City of London Police of “being more interested in making a name for themselves” after he was arrested in connection with the inquiry into alleged corruption in English football.

Sullivan was held earlier this month with City’s managing director Karren Brady on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting. They were later released on bail.
