Lampard missing for Blues

Chelsea boss Avram Grant will be without grieving Frank Lampard for their Barclays Premier showdown against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

Midfielder Lampard will miss the game following the death of his mother on Thursday.

Michael Essien, suspended for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Liverpool, returns to the squad.
