Celtic’s title hopes still alive after win

Celtic's SPL title challenge is still alive following a dramatic 2-1 win over Rangers in last night's Old Firm derby.

The game looked to be heading for a 1-1 draw following goals from Shunsuke Nakamura and Nacho Novo at Parkhead.

Celtic failed to capitalise on an ideal opportunity to clinch victory when a Scott McDonald penalty was saved.

However, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink managed to head home a winner in the fourth minute of injury time to secure all three points for the home team.

The result leaves Celtic just one point behind Rangers at the top of the table, but the Ibrox side have two games in hand.
