Cech lines up for Blues

Goalkeeper Petr Cech has been named in Chelsea’s side to face Wigan at Stamford Bridge with a chin guard to protect 50 stitches in a facial wound.

Cech collected the injury in a training ground collision with defender Tal Ben-Haim two weeks ago and was given medical clearance to play.

It will be Cech’s first appearance for six weeks following an earlier ankle problem.
