Megson focus on battle for survival

Under-fire Bolton manager Gary Megson insists he will not be distracted from the task of trying to keep his team in the Barclays Premier League by speculation about his own future at the Reebok Stadium.

A section of supporters called for Megson to go during Bolton’s 4-0 defeat at Aston Villa last weekend and this week the club moved to dismiss claims Nigerian Olympic coach Samson Siasia was being lined up to replace Megson in the summer.
