Liam Brady believes the Republic of Ireland players will relish working for the man he calls the ’Italian Bill Shankly’.

The Republic legend was in Dublin on Tuesday along with fellow assistant Marco Tardelli to announce Giovanni Trapattoni’s first Ireland squad.
