Totti set to miss Old Trafford clash

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti fears Francesco Totti will not be fit for the Italian side’s Champions League return clash with Manchester United next week.

The talismanic Roma skipper missed the first leg of the quarter-final at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday with a thigh injury and without him the Giallorossi lost 2-0 to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.

And now Spalletti admits he is set to miss the Old Trafford rematch as well, saying after a 3-2 victory over Genoa tonight: “I don´t think he will make it.

“Of course I would like to have a player like Totti available.”
