No charges for Wise after car stoning incident

Football boss Dennis Wise will not face any criminal charges after he chased and grabbed a teenager whom he believed was throwing stones at his car, police said today.

The former Leeds United manager – now an executive director of Premiership giants Newcastle United – faced questioning by police following an incident early on New Year’s Day when his luxury car was pelted by a gang of youths.
