Ferguson to miss Rangers' cup clash

Barry Ferguson is set to miss Rangers’ Scottish Cup tie tomorrow against Partick Thistle with an ankle injury.

The Ibrox skipper will see a specialist today to assess the extent of the injury and is almost certain to sit out the quarter-final clash.

Nacho Novo and Charlie Adam are both free of suspension, while Steven Naismith is also back in contention after being cup-tied for Sunday’s CIS Insurance Cup final win.
