Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson accused the English Football Association of double standards after Frank Lampard saw his red card for violent conduct overturned.

Chelsea midfielder Lampard yesterday won his appeal against his sending off in Saturday’s Premier League victory at West Ham, when he and Luis Boa Morte clashed.
