Celtic skipper Stephen McManus is likely to miss the Clydesdale Bank Premier League visit of Inverness.

But a scan has shown his hamstring injury is merely a slight strain and he is expected to be back in action in time for next week’s Champions League clash in Barcelona.

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (hamstring) is battling to return but John Kennedy (knee) remains out while Mark Wilson has flown to the US to get the all-clear following a problem with his knee.
