England manager Fabio Capello has opted for experience in his final 23-man squad to face Switzerland on Wednesday.

Capello has cut seven players from his original 30-man provisional squad – two of them, Emile Heskey and Ledley King due to injury.

The other five to miss out were Curtis Davies (Aston Villa), Glen Johnson (Portsmouth) Nicky Shorey (Reading), Michael Carrick (Manchester United) and Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough).
