Dan Connor to miss start of season after hip op

Drogheda's Dan Connor is set to miss the start of the new Eircom League season as he recovers from a hip injury.

The goalkeeper is expected to be out of action until early May.

He underwent surgery this week and is due to begin rehabilitation next week.
