Bassett joins Leeds exodus

Leeds have today confirmed that assistant manager Dave Bassett has left the club.

Bassett, who replaced Gus Poyet as former manager Dennis Wise's right-hand man in November, was expected to take charge of the squad tonight for their Coca-Cola League One clash at Southend.
