Joe Jordan unaware of Magpie's interest in Redknapp

Harry Redknapp dodged a media circus at Portsmouth’s Eastleigh training ground and drove off with the club’s chief executive Peter Storrie amid speculation he is being lined up to take over at Newcastle.

Pompey’s first team coach Joe Jordan, however, insisted he expected Redknapp to still be in charge of the south coast side for their trip to Sunderland on Sunday despite him being linked with the vacancy left by Sam Allardyce’s departure.
