Sunderland boss Roy Keane admitted he was “ashamed” after seeing his side dumped out of the FA Cup by Wigan at the Stadium of Light.

Former Manchester United team-mate Steve Bruce made seven changes to his team as he tried to balance the demands of the cup with the desperate fight for Barclays Premier League survival.
