Duo face race to be fit for Blues

Chelsea coach Avram Grant is sweating on the fitness of striker Didier Drogba and goalkeeper Petr Cech ahead of their FA Cup clash with Queens Park Rangers at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

Chelsea coach Avram Grant is sweating on the fitness of striker Didier Drogba and goalkeeper Petr Cech ahead of their FA Cup clash with Queens Park Rangers at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

Drogba has returned to training following a knee operation while Cech has been troubled by a hip problem.

Captain John Terry, midfielder Frank Lampard, winger Florent Malouda and striker Andriy Shevchenko remain out through injury.

It will be the final game for Salomon Kalou, Michael Essien, Drogba and Mikel John Obi before they leave for the African Nations Cup with their respective countries.

Provisional squad: Cech, Hilario, Ferreira, Bridge, A Cole, Ben-Haim, Mikel, Alex, Essien, Sidwell, Pizarro, Kalou, Wright-Phillips, J Cole, Ballack, Sinclair, Belletti.
