Jewell makes three changes for Derby
Derby manager Paul Jewell made three changes to his side as they went in search of their second league win of the season.
Matt Oakley returned as captain, as did Michael Johnson and Claude Davis at Pride Park.
Derby went into the match with renewed confidence after losing narrowly to Liverpool on St Stephen's Day.
Blackburn were aiming to kick on after ending Manchester City’s 100% home league record on Thursday.
Manager Mark Hughes rang the changes with Benni McCarthy, Stephen Warnock, Tugay and Aaron Mokoena all recalled.
