Ferdinand in the frame for Hammers return

Anton Ferdinand is pushing for a return to the West Ham starting XI for tomorrow’s Premier League clash with Manchester United after returning from two months out with a hamstring injury.

Carlton Cole was struggling with illness before the St Stephen's Day draw with Reading, but is hopeful of being fit to play.

Julien Faubert, Matthew Etherington and Lee Bowyer are all back in training but they will not be available for at least another week.
