Hammers lead 10-man Reading with Solano strike

Nolberto Solano earned West Ham a half-time lead over 10-man Reading at Upton Park.

Reading midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson was sent-off in the 29th minute for a two-footed challenge on Hayden Mullins.

Solano’s strike – a neat finish over the on-rushing goalkeeper – came three minutes before half-time.
