King comes back for Spurs
Ledley King made his first appearance of the season in Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Fulham at White Hart Lane.
The Spurs skipper endured a wretched year with injuries, with a foot problem picked up last Boxing Day keeping him out for four months.
He then had knee surgery in the summer before a recent thigh strain delayed his comeback in the final stages of rehabilitation.
Spurs boss Juande Ramos also brought Tom Huddlestone in for Kevin-Prince Boateng from the side that lost to rivals Arsenal at the weekend.
Fulham caretaker boss Ray Lewington brought Alexey Smertin, Seol Ki-Hyeon and Chris Baird into his starting line-up for his second game in charge.
Former Spurs midfielders Simon Davies and Danny Murphy were included by Lewington.
