Curbishley hails Hammers pair

West Ham boss Alan Curbishley hailed the resilience of match-winning duo Scott Parker and Dean Ashton after they scored the goals which helped down Middlesbrough 2-1 at The Riverside.

Both men scored wonderful goals, Ashton drilling home powerfully with a first-time hit just before half-time and Parker scoring in the 90th-minute with a stirring solo effort, as the Hammers mugged their hosts in what had been an otherwise even encounter.
