Wenger set to ring the changes
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is expected to again give his fringe players a chance to impress in tomorrow’s Carling Cup quarter-final at Blackburn.
Midfielder Emmanuel Eboue (knee) looks set to be sidelined for a couple of weeks after his injury against Chelsea yesterday, but forward Theo Walcott (knee) could be back in contention after missing the Barclays Premier League win.
Young Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner is likely to lead the attack, with Eduardo – who scored twice in the last round – and Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski also set to feature at Ewood Park.
Provisional squad: Fabianski, J Hoyte, Senderos, Song, Traore, Diaby, Gilberto, Walcott, Bendtner, Eduardo, Mannone, G Hoyte, Diarra, Denilson, Lansbury, Perez, Barazite, Gallas.
