The former Arsenal midfielder scored twice in the 3-1 win over Newcastle but also collected his fifth yellow card of the season to incur a one-match ban.

Defender Ryan Nelsen is also absent as he completes his suspension for being sent off against Aston Villa.

Top scorer Benni McCarthy is in contention after reports of a bust-up with manager Mark Hughes were played down but Jason Roberts is pushing for a start. Midfielder Robbie Savage is also hoping to force his way back in.
