Arsene Wenger admits the way Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna has settled into life in the Barclays Premier League has taken him by “complete surprise”.

The French defender was signed from Auxerre during the summer in a £6million deal, and has quickly established himself in the Gunners side, forming an impressive partnership with Emmanuel Eboue down the right.
