Ronaldo strike gives United slender lead at the break
Man Utd 1 Fulham 0
Cristiano Ronaldo made up for only being voted the second best player in Europe by smashing Manchester United in front against Fulham at Old Trafford.
The winger was named runner-up to Kaka for the prestigious Ballon D’Or yesterday, although he is still in the hunt for the FIFA world player prize.
And the judges are bound to have been impressed by his 12th goal of the season, a magnificent first-time volley after Nemanja Vidic had flicked a header into his path.
