New Wigan manager Steve Bruce has hinted he may appeal against Mario Melchiot’s red card in the Latics’ 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

Melchiot was dismissed by referee Mike Riley two minutes from time for a two-footed challenge on Stephen Ireland.
