Barton criticises 'vicious' Newcastle fans

Newcastle's Joey Barton has warned Toon fans they will never see the success they crave on Tyneside, unless they change their "vicious" nature.

Barton, a £5m signing from Manchester City last summer, has been "shocked" by the behaviour of Newcastle supporters - especially their treatment of manager Sam Allardyce.
