Townsend: 'Delaney should make appointment himself'

Former Irish international Andy Townsend has spoken out about why he turned down a chance to form part of the panel tasked with finding a new Republic of Ireland manager.

Speaking on Setanta Sports last night, he said selecting a new manager was not his job, but a task for the FAI to fulfil.
