McCann's future uncertain after bust-up with Givens

Chris McCann's future with the Irish U-21s is uncertain this morning after he was sent home by manager Don Givens last night.

Givens ordered him home after the 20-year-old Burnley midfielder said he did not want to take his place on the bench for the European Championship qualifier against Bulgaria.

The manager has been severely critical of McCann's actions, saying many players would give their right arm to line out for their country.
