Davies pushing for place - O'Neill

Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill claims defender Curtis Davies is pushing hard for a first team recall after recovering from his poor debut against Leicester in the Carling Cup.

Davies has yet to start a Premier League game for Villa since moving from West Brom in an initial loan deal which could eventually be worth around £10m to the Baggies.
