Longford hoping for win to stay up
Nothing but victory will be good enough for Longford Town as they take on Derry City in tonight's eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash at Flancare Park, kick-off 7.45pm.
And that may not even be good enough to save Longford Town as they will be relying on Shamrock Rovers to beat Waterford United as well.
Town boss Alan Mathews has a full squad to choose from for tonight's vital clash and he will be looking to top scorer Dave Mooney to lead them to victory.
Gareth McGlynn (knee) and Pat Jennings (hip) are both doubtful for the Candystripes as Anthony Gorman takes charge for the final game of the season with boss John Robertson back in Scotland due to family reasons.
Ruaidhri Higgins is ruled out through suspension, while Ken Oman is likely to play his final game for Derry as he is rumoured to be going on trial to Sunderland next week.
