Trial by TV tough for Harper

Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce has made his players watch a “video nasty” of their 4-1 home humiliation by Portsmouth.

Magpies goalkeeper Steve Harper admitted that watching the video was “no fun at all” as Allardyce conducted an inquest into the defeat which saw the visitors go 3-0 after just 11 minutes.
