Galway gain deserved point at RSC

Galway secured their Premier Division status for next season with a deserved point at the RSC.
The Tribesmen had the better chances throughout with Derek O'Brien wasting the best of them on 72 minutes.
Played clean through on goal by Ciaran Foley, the winger decided against taking a controlling touch and ballooned his first time effort high over the bar.
The point wasn't enough to ease Blues' relegation fears. They must now get at least a point from their final match away to Shamrock Rovers next week to secure the play-off.
If they win they'll need Bray to lose at home to Sligo to get out of the bottom two altogether.
