Anelka out for Trotters

Bolton’s leading scorer Nicolas Anelka has failed to recover from a hamstring strain in time to face West Ham on Sunday.

Anelka missed Wednesday’s Carling Cup defeat to Manchester City but boss Gary Megson had hoped the French forward would have recovered in time to face the Hammers.
