Carra seeking home comforts

Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool have to sort out their worrying home form if they are to get their season firing again.

The defender is likely to captain the side tonight in the home Carling Cup fourth-round tie with Robbie Fowler’s Cardiff outfit.

Boss Rafael Benitez could well rest skipper Steven Gerrard for the match, with the likelihood of several fringe players taking part.

That is likely to include Harry Kewell, Lucas Leiva, Sebastian Leto, Fabio Aurelio, Ryan Babel, Mohamed Sissoko, Jack Hobbs and Charles Itandje while fit-again Alvaro Arbeloa should get a run-out in defence with Peter Crouch starting up front.
