Redknapp handed new contract

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has signed a new contract which will keep him at Fratton Park until 2011, the club have confirmed.

The 60-year-old Pompey boss, who had been linked to succeed Martin Jol at Spurs before the appointment of Juande Ramos, has been rewarded for his team's fine start to the season.
