Murty expected to play against Newcastle

Reading expect captain Graeme Murty to retain his place for tomorrow’s visit of Newcastle after the defender suffered a bout of sickness yesterday.

Winger Bobby Convey is available again for the Barclays Premier League contest following a calf injury and a successful run out for the reserves in midweek.

Winger John Oster (ankle) and utility man Kalifa Cisse (knee) remain unavailable although both have stepped up rehabilitation routines and could be back in training next week.
