Alan Kirby and Billy Gibson scored a brace apiece as St. Pat's recorded their biggest win of the season to move two points clear in second place in the table.

Kirby shot Saints in front from Michael Keane's pass on 21 minutes.

Gibson hit a sublime 30-yard volley to double the lead five minutes before the break.

The game was over as a contest 11 minutes into the second half when Kirby struck again from Keith Fahey's cross.

Gary O'Neill stabbed home Mark Quigley's cross for the fourth goal on the hour mark.

Rovers midfielder Eric McGill was sent off seven minutes later for a bad challenge on Keane before Gibson wrapped it up with his second of the night on 74 minutes.
