Bohs keep up Euro hopes after win

Bohemians 2 Galway United 0

Chris Turner scored a stunning first goal for Bohemians to help move them level on points with arch-rivals Shamrock Rovers in joint-fourth place in the table.

Bohs blew a ninth minute chance to take the lead when Mark Rossiter's penalty was saved by Gary Rogers after John Fitzgerald had taken down John Paul Kelly.

Glen Crowe wasted two subsequent chances approaching the interval before Turner struck eight minutes into the second half.

Substitute Kevin Hunt did the donkey work to set-up Turner who beat Rogers with a superb shot.

Crowe added the second goal to seal a deserved Bohs win seven minutes from time.
